Lieutenant Parhm-Mack began her career at South Precinct as a patrol officer. In 2010, she was assigned to the Community Services Division and was instrumental in the restructuring and management of the Volunteers in Police Services (VIPS) and Internship programs. In an effort to demonstrate the department’s commitment to competence and professional development, Mack also earned the Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA) certification.
In 2016, she requested to return to the Patrol Bureau and was assigned to North Precinct as a patrol officer and later became a Field Training Officer (FTO). In 2018, Mack was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and assigned to East Precinct as a field supervisor. She also oversaw police operations at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. In 2020, Mack was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. She currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police.
Lieutenant Mack has completed numerous training classes and received various commendations. She also earned a Master of Business Administration Degree in Project Management, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership, and an Associate of Science Degree in Business Administration. Her solid educational background, coupled with her law enforcement training and experience, fortified her capacity to spearhead myriad multifaceted departmental projects from soup to nuts.
Mack has a strong faith in God. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her family, cooking, reading books and watching HGTV and the Food Network.
