The Birmingham Police Department Organize Bookbag Giveaway Event
On Saturday, July 30th, 2022, The Birmingham Police Department Community Outreach and Public Education Division will be hosting a Community Bookbag Giveaway event. Participants will be able to visit one of the five locations listed below from 11:00 a.m- 5:00 p.m. Bookbags will be on a first come, first serve basis while supply lasts. All children must be accompanied by an adult to receive items. Distribution of the bookbags will be limited to four bookbags per family. This event is open to the general public. Media interviews will be conducted that day at the Birmingham Police Headquarters located at 1710 1st Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35203 from the hours of 11:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m.
