Public’s Assistance De’Runnya Wilson Homicide Investigation
Detectives request assistance from the public in obtaining information on the murder of De’Runnya Wilson. The homicide occurred on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.
At approximated 2:25 p.m., officers from the West Precinct responded to 2128 Northland Avenue where they were alerted the victim, De’Runnya Wilson was inside of his home unresponsive. Birmingham Fire and Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced Wilson deceased. Evidence discovered prompted detectives to classify this case as a homicide. Currently, the suspect(s) is still at large.
