Shooting Investigation
The Birmingham Police Department reports detectives are conducting a shooting investigation. BPD investigators request assistance from the public in identifying the suspect in the attached surveillance photos.
On Saturday August 31, 2019 the suspect fired multiple shots at a subject in the 2000 block of Avenue V. As the suspect fired shots a round entered the occupied building of Limbaugh Toyota. There were no injuries in this shooting.
The suspect is a black male driving a black Silverado.
If there is anyone with information on the identity of the suspect, we ask that they contact BPD Felony Assault Detectives at 205-254-1764 or remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777. If the tip to Crime Stoppers leads to an arrest, Crime Stoppers will provide a cash reward.
