Response to Recent TikTok Threats
The Birmingham Police Department is aware of the social media threat of violence at schools across the country. The Birmingham Police Department is working closely with School Board Superintendent, Dr. Mark Sullivan, and staff at the Birmingham City Schools. The Birmingham Police Department has increased patrols at all schools to include foot patrols within the schools. Although the credibility of the threats is undetermined, our goal is to assure all students and faculty are safe.
