Homicide Investigation
The Birmingham Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation. The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
The victim has been identified as:
Reginald Andre Moore (55), of Birmingham, Alabama.
At 10:53 PM, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 900 block of 4th Court West, on a call of a person down.
Upon arrival officers observed the victim lying on the side of a residence unresponsive. Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
The victim was suffering from a gunshot wound.
