BPD Hosting Physical Agility Screening
The Birmingham Police Department will host a Physical Agility Screening on Saturday, January 11, 2025, @ 8 a.m. at the Birmingham Police Academy (401 6th Avenue South).
*Applicants will need to bring their driver’s license AND wear WARM athletic clothing and shoes. *
*Upon successful completion of the application and hiring process, applicants can start their career with BPD as early as March 2025.
All new recruits will receive:
A $10,000 sign-on bonus upon successfully completing the academy and further training.
$58,094.40, High school/GED
$61,006.40, Associate’s degree
$64,043.20, Bachelor’s degree
