Operation Knight Rider Continuation

The Birmingham Police Department would like to provide additional updates on Operation Knight Rider.

During the weekend of May 3^rd – 5^th, BPD efficiently deployed resources across different city locations, resulting in 4 arrests, impounding of 3 vehicles (including 2 stolen vehicles), and seizure of 2 firearms.

The suspects apprehended during this operation are as follows:

Carlos Alfaro, (23), H/M, of Birmingham, Alabama. (Exhibition Driving), Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2^nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was booked into the Jefferson County Jail.
Reuben Chaney, (41), B/M, of Birmingham, Alabama. Attempted Murder and Discharging Firearm into an Occupied Building. He was booked into the Jefferson County Jail.
Lafayette Hodges III, (25), B/M, of Birmingham, Alabama. Felony Attempt to Elude, RSP 1^st Degree (Stolen vehicle). He was booked into the Jefferson County Jail. 2 handguns seized.
Larry Johnson Jr., (23), B/M, of Hueytown, Alabama. Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2^nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was booked into the Birmingham City Jail.
