Media Release 114- Homicide Investigation- Quest Club

Homicide Investigation

The Birmingham Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation. The incident occurred on Friday, May 24, 2024.

The victim has been identified as:

Terrance Terrell Brown, Jr., (32), B/M, of Birmingham, Alabama.

At around 6:30 a.m., South Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of Two People shot inside the Quest Club (416 24th Street South).

Officers arrived on the scene and then entered the nightclub when they observed the victim along with a second adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Birmingham Fire and Rescue (BFR) personnel arrived and pronounced the victim deceased.

BFR personnel transported the second adult male gunshot victim to UAB Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The preliminary investigation suggests the two gunshot victims were involved in a physical altercation. We believe both victims shot one another during the altercation.
