Public’s Assistance with the Litfelton Frost Homicide Investigation

 Detectives request assistance from the public in obtaining information on a homicide that occurred on Thursday, October 27, 2022, in the 4100 Block of 38th Avenue North, that claimed the life of Litfelton Frost.

At approximately 4:30 PM, Birmingham 9-1-1 received a call regarding a person shot in the 4100 Block of 38th Avenue North. Upon Arrival East Precinct officers observed a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived at the scene and declared the victim deceased.

Currently, we believe the suspect(s) shot the victim and then fled the scene in a four-door sedan.

Homicide Investigation

(Media Release 220-2022)

The Birmingham Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation. The incident occurred on Thursday, October 27, 2022.

The victim has been identified as:

Litfelton Alexander Frost, (32), B/M, of Birmingham, Alabama.

At approximately 4:30 PM, Birmingham 9-1-1 received a call regarding a person shot in the 4100 Block of 38th Avenue North. Upon Arrival East Precinct officers observed a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived at the scene and declared the victim deceased.

Currently, there is no one in custody.

 This is Birmingham’s 116th murder investigation of 2022 including 7 justifiable death investigations.

 The Birmingham Police Department adheres to FBI Uniform Crime Reporting guidelines set for all law enforcement agencies across the United States. FBI Uniform Crime Reporting guidelines do not require law enforcement agencies to include justifiable death investigations into the total homicide investigations counts.
