Robbery Investigation
The Birmingham Police Department reports detectives are conducting a robbery investigation. Detectives request assistance from the public in identifying a person of interest in the attached photo.
On Saturday, September 26, 2020, the Circle K located at 7701 1St Avenue North was robbed. The suspect approached the clerk with a firearm as he opened the store. The suspect ordered the clerk to the cash register and demanded money. The suspect obtain an unknown amount of money prior to fleeing the store in an unknown direction.
If there is anyone with information on the identity of the suspect, we ask that they contact BPD Robbery Detectives at 205-254-1753 or remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777. If the tip to Crime Stoppers leads to an arrest, Crime Stoppers will provide a cash reward.
