BPD officers, Chiefs board sleigh for neighborhood toy deliveries
The Birmingham Police Department boarded the holiday sleigh on Tuesday, February 23, 2020 to deliver toys to children in several neighborhoods.
Members of BPD ‘s Command Staff, including Chief of Police Patrick D. Smith, Assistant Chief Darnell Davenport and Deputy Chief Ron Sellers joined the officers and Mr. and Mrs. Clause on board to deliver countless gifts to the children.

The three-hour event was broadcast on Facebook live in real time from the official Birmingham Police Department, Alabama page and reached more than 34,000 users in less than 24 hours after the first live broadcast was posted.
