Connect Birmingham is the latest phase for the Birmingham Police Department to ensure a safe and better Birmingham. This program allows BPD to collaborate with the community to investigate criminal activity faster. Watch the video down below to learn more about Connect Birmingham!
This program happens in two phases: camera registry and camera integration. Community members can share and integrate their cameras with BPD for a faster processing time when an event occurs.
With camera registering, community members can opt-in to register their cameras by utilizing the form below. No need to worry! Registering your camera doesn’t mean anyone could access a live video stream. BPD investigators will only contact you if an event happens in the area.

Businesses and citizens can utilize our camera integration for an extra layer of protection. This portion of the program gives first responders access to your camera in an emergency. BPD has collaborated with the following camera integration companies: Fusus and Genetec. For more information on integrating your cameras, please get in touch with these companies directly.
