Three Juveniles Shot
The Birmingham Police Department is conducting an Assault Investigation after three juveniles were shot. The incident occurred on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
At around 4:00 AM, West Precinct officers were dispatched to the 1400 Block of 19th Place Southwest on report of a Person Shot.
Officers arrived on the scene and observed three male juveniles suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The ages of the males are 15, 16, and 16.
The victims were transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The preliminary investigation has revealed the victims were walking in the area when an unknown suspect(s) fired shots at them.
The motive is unknown. Officers have not ruled out that one of the victims may know the possible shooter(s).
There is no one custody.
