Public’s Assistance with Anthony Jackson II Homicide Investigation
Detectives request assistance from the public in obtaining information on a homicide that occurred on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
On Saturday, February 19, 2022, at approximately 11:00 a.m., West Precinct officers were dispatched to 1745 33rd Street Ensley on report of a person shot call. Officers arrived on the scene where they observed Anthony Jackson II lying unresponsive in front of the residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived on the scene and pronounced Anthony Jackson Deceased.
Currently, we have no one in custody. The Jackson Family and our detectives are asking for the public’s help in obtaining any information in this case.
