Operation Knight Rider Continuation

The Birmingham Police Department would like to provide additional updates on Operation Knight Rider.

During the weekend of May 31–June 1, and the weekend of June 22-23, 2024, BPD efficiently deployed resources across different city locations, resulting in 6 arrests, the impounding of 4 vehicles (including 1 stolen vehicle), and the seizure of 7 firearms.

The suspects apprehended during this operation are as follows:

1. RaJai Atmore, (19), B/M, of Hoover, Al. (Exhibition Driving and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree). He was booked into the Birmingham City Jail. 1 handgun seized.

2. Quentavious Barclay, (29), B/M, of Childersburg, Al. (Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree, Fleeing/Attempt to Elude and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree). He was booked into the Jefferson County Jail.

3. Daveon Dortch, (18), B/M, of Birmingham, Alabama. (Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree). He was booked into the Jefferson County Jail. 1 handgun (1 Glock Switch) seized.

4. Jaqua Lacey, (28), B/M, of Birmingham, Alabama. (Exhibition Driving). He was booked into the Birmingham City Jail.

5. Cameron Scales, (18), B/M, of Birmingham, Al. (Receiving Stolen Property 1st Degree, Felony Attempting to Elude, and Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree). He was booked into the Jefferson County Jail. 4 handguns (1 Glock Switch) seized, and 1 Radical Firearm RF 15 multi-caliber seized.

6. Messiah Woodruf, (20), B/M, of Fultondale, Al. (Exhibition Driving). He was booked into the Birmingham City Jail.
