Robbery Investigation

The Birmingham Police Department reports detectives are conducting a robbery investigation. Detectives request assistance from the public in identifying a person of interest in the attached photo.

On Saturday, July 3, 2021, at approximately 10:25 p.m., West Precinct officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Princeton Avenue Southwest on report of a robbery of a person.

Officers arrived on the scene and made contact with a community member who stated he was robbed at gunpoint by an unknown black male wearing “colorful clothes. The suspect took miscellaneous items from the victim then fled the scene in an unknown grey sedan which was parked at the front of the location.

If there is anyone with information on the identity of the suspect, we ask that they contact BPD Robbery Detectives at 205-254-1753 or remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
