The Birmingham Police Department’s COPE Division Wants You To Sign Up For Our Community Police Academy Class
The Birmingham Police Department’s Community Outreach and Public Education Division (COPE) will be hosting a Community Police Academy class starting October 4th, 2022. This class will be able to enhance awareness and give community members a first hand opportunity to understand more about the Birmingham Police Department and best practices to implement within their communities. The academy class will be a ten-week program where citizens will be able to meet on a weekly basis to learn more about how the community and the police department can work together to increase positive communication and reduce crime rates. Participants will be taught by various officers within the Birmingham Police Department and other law enforcement partners with years of experience within the law enforcement industry on an array of subjects.
