Media Release 195-Homicide Investigation-4100 Block of 43rd Ave N
The Birmingham Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation. The incident occurred on Wednesday, September 22, 2022.
The victim has been identified as:
Curtis Alvis Ware, (66), B/M, of Birmingham, Alabama.
At approximately 8:46 AM, Birmingham 9-1-1 received call regarding a person down in the 4100 Block of 43rd Avenue North. Upon Arrival East Precinct officers responded to the location to observe a male suffering from a gunshot wound.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived at the scene and declared the victim deceased.
Currently, there is no one in custody.
