The Birmingham Police Department Is Pushing For A Cure!
On Monday, October 17th, 2022, the Birmingham Police Department will be hosting our “Birm- ingham Police Pushing For The Cure” Event. This event was created to honor many women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and the lives that we have lost to the disease. During this event, BPD will honor and celebrate many of our own officers and employees who fought the battle against the deadly disease. The event will be held at the Birmingham Police Headquarters (1701 1st Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35208) from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Free lunch will be provided. Throughout the month of October, BPD will be presenting a social media campaign that brings awareness to our viewers about breast cancer. Through this campaign, BPD will be giving out information to be able to help safe someone’s life through early detection.
