The Birmingham Police Department reports Critical Missing Person, James Jones has been located; he is safe.
Critical Missing Person Investigation
The Birmingham Police Department reports detectives are conducting a critical missing person investigation. The Birmingham Police Department requests assistance from the public on locating the subject in the attached photo.
The missing person has been identified as:
James Jones, 67, W/M, of Birmingham, Alabama 5’8’’ 205lbs.
James Jones was last seen on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at around 5 a.m.- 7 a.m. walking on foot in the 1300 block of 20th Street North. He was wearing a t-shirt (unknown description) and jeans.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating this case as a Critical Missing Person Investigation due to the fact James Jones suffers from a mental condition that affects his memory and judgment.
