Media Release 240 – Robbery Investigation – 150 Summit Apartments
The Birmingham Police Department is conducting a robbery investigation. The incident occurred on Sunday, November 20, 2022.
At approximately, 10:40 PM, Birmingham 9-1-1 received multiple calls that a person had been shot in the 100 block of Summit Place at 150 Summit Apartments.
Upon arrival South Precinct officers encountered an adult male that had been shot in a possible robbery attempt. Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service transported him to UAB hospital where he was treated.
There are no suspects in custody. Detectives are investing this case.
