Robbery Investigation
The Birmingham Police Department reports detectives are conducting a robbery investigation. Detectives request assistance from the public in identifying a person of interest in the attached photo.
On Friday, November 6, 2020, the suspect entered the Family Dollar located at 2003 Avenue F and demanded money from the cashier. The suspect was armed with a handgun. The suspect left the location with the entire cash drawer. The suspect fled in a white sedan. The suspect was wearing a dark colored hoodie, red cap, glasses, surgical mask, dark colored Nike shorts, and black/ white tennis shoes. There were other occupants in the vehicle.
If there is anyone with information on the identity of the suspect, we ask that they contact BPD Robbery Detectives at 205-254-1753 or remain anonymous by
contacting Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777. If the tip to Crime Stoppers leads to an arrest, Crime Stoppers will provide a cash reward.
