Homicide Investigation
The Birmingham Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation. The incident occurred on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
The victim has been identified as:
Quinterrious Patton, (25), B/M, of Birmingham, Alabama.
At approximately 1:35 a.m., South Precinct officers were dispatched to a Person Shot call at the Adona Apartment Complex, located in the 100 Block of Stoneridge Road.
Officers arrived on the scene and observed the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived on the scene and transported the victim to UAB Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Sunday, November 12, 2023, the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office notified our Felony Assault Unit the victim passed away earlier today.
Details are limited in this investigation; investigators have worked to gain information from the victim and those close to him but have received limited feedback.
There is no one in custody.
