Missing Person Investigation Update
The Birmingham Police Department reports Missing Person James Hamrick has been located. At approximately 9 am, officers from the Summerdale Police Department (Baldwin County, Alabama) were alerted by a license plate reader that Mr. Hamrick’s vehicle was observed in the area. Officers located Mr. Hamrick in an area on State Route 59 near Foley, Alabama. He was found safe and has since been transported to the hospital for a medical evaluation.

The Birmingham Police Department reports detectives are conducting a missing person investigation. The Birmingham Police Department requests assistance from the public on locating the subject in the attached photo.
The missing person has been identified as:
James Hamrick, (91), W/M, 6’0” 150lbs, brown eyes, grey hair, of Fultondale, Alabama.
Mr. Hamrick was last seen on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at the VA Hospital (700 19th Street South) at around 6 pm. He was wearing a plaid blue shirt, blue jeans, and a beige jacket. He left the location driving a 2014 White Chevrolet Impala Alabama license plate #TFB094. Family members haven’t seen nor heard from him since. Mr. Hamrick suffers from a medical condition that may affect his judgment.
