Critical Missing Person Investigation

The Birmingham Police Department reports detectives are conducting a critical missing person investigation. The Birmingham Police Department requests assistance from the public in locating the child in the attached photo.

The missing person has been identified as:
Justin Allums, (10), B/M, of Birmingham, Alabama. 5’1’’ 125 pounds. Nicknamed “Doughboy.”

At approximately 5:22 p.m., Birmingham Police Department’s 911 Communication Division received a call in reference to two children missing. The two boys, ages 4 and 10, went missing from the 4800 block of Court S Ensley.
Officers responded to the location and located the 4-year-old; he has since been reunited with his family members. Officers are currently searching the area for the 10-year-old identified as Justin Allums.

Justin is described as “stocky” wearing a grey long sleeve shirt with a green & purple image of radio on it, a blue/black bubble jacket, a black backpack, blue jeans, and white Air Force ones w/ black shoe strings. At this time, investigators have not confirmed any evidence of foul play. The search and investigation are ongoing.
