Homicide Investigation
The Birmingham Police Department reports that detectives are conducting a homicide investigation. The deceased was discovered on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at approximately 10:00 a.m.
The deceased has been identified as:
Adam Blake Warren, W/M, 36, of Trafford, Alabama.
Officers from the East Precinct responded to a call from Airport Authority Security of a person lying on the side of the roadway in the 8900 block of 8th Court North. Upon arrival officers located a male subject lying on the side of the roadway unresponsive. Birmingham Fire and Rescue arrived with the Jefferson County Coroner and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene. Initially the investigation was unclassified, but further examination by the coroner and additional evidence gathered at the scene prompted detectives to classify the investigation as a homicide.
Currently there are no motives or suspects in this investigation.
