Kidnapping/ Assault Investigation
The Birmingham Police Department needs your help in identifying and locating a black female who we believe has been kidnapped and seriously injured.
On Thursday, April 11, 2024, at approximately 2:11 a.m., South Precinct Officers responded to a call of a two-vehicle collision at 6th Avenue SW and MLK.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered evidence of a possible assault/ shooting incident.
No one was on the scene when officers arrived.
The female was the driver of what we believe to be a Chevy Traverse, burgundy and black. The victim appeared to be small in stature and was wearing pink Nike sneakers. The victim’s clothing description is unknown.
The year and tag number of the Chevy Traverse are unknown.
We believe a crime has occurred and the unidentified female victim is seriously injured.
