Homicide Investigation
The Birmingham Police Department reports that detectives are conducting a homicide investigation. The deceased was discovered on Wednesday January 15, 2020 at approximately 11:30 a.m. The victim has been identified as: Kyre Robinson, B/M, 26, of Birmingham, Alabama. Officers from the South Precinct responded to a call of a person shot at 4218 5th Avenue South.
Upon arrival, officers were directed to the victim’s apartment where he was located unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue reported to the scene along with the Jefferson County Coroner and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene. Currently there is very limited information on this investigation.
