Media Release 95- Join the Birmingham Police Department for National Police Week
The Birmingham Police Department will be recognizing National Police Week from Sunday, May 14th to Saturday, May 20th with two main events. On May 19th, we will be hosting our annual Fallen Officer Memorial Ceremony at Railroad Park (1600 1st Avenue South) beginning at 9:00am.
On May 20th, BPD will be hosting a police car show! From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., BPD, with various departments, will be showcasing their best patrol vehicles. This event will be a free to attend and open to the public.
