Public’s Assistance on Homicide

Detectives request assistance from the public in obtaining information on a homicide which occurred on Sunday, May 24, 2020.

On Sunday, May 24, just after 5:00 p.m., Tyler Busby was shot killed at the Nu Vision Detail Center located in the 2800 block of Bessemer Road.

Mr. Busby was patronizing the business when an unknown person emerged from a vehicle and shot him. The suspect fled the scene in a small sedan prior to officer’s arrival. Tyler Busby was pronounced deceased on the scene by Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel. To this this day, Tyler’s killer(s) still has not been brought to justice.
