Lieutenant James Littleton has 15 years of Law Enforcement experience. He began training at the Birmingham Police Academy on July 23, 2007. He has worked a variety of assignments, including Patrol, East Precinct Task Force, Special Victims Unit Detective, North Precinct Task Force Sergeant, and Internal Affairs Investigator.
Lieutenant Littleton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on July 26, 2022, and is currently the Executive Assistant to the Deputy Chief of the Investigative Bureau.
